Over the years, the rubber on the scroll and side wheels of my Logitech MX Master 2S degraded, becoming sticky and peeling. After some research, I found that this issue can be resolved by replacing the wheels with pure metal ones similar to those used in the MX Master 3.
I purchased a replacement wheel made of SUS material from Taobao for about SGD $8. While it’s very affordable, it does require tools and some DIY skills to install.
After the replacement, my MX Master 2S back to normal and looks like the MX Master 3.😁
